- Kalimat Verbal: Subject + Verb 2 + Object/Complement
- Kalimat Nominal: Subject + was/were + Complement
Beberapa keterangan waktu yang biasa digunakan antara lain: yesterday, last week, two days ago, this morning, dan just now. Menggunakan tense ini secara tepat membuat cerita lebih runtut dan mudah dipahami.
1. Liburan ke Pantai Anyer Bersama Keluarga
Two months ago, my family and I went to Anyer Beach. It was my first time going there, and I was super excited. We left early in the morning to avoid traffic.
The journey took around three hours by car. Along the way, we sang songs and ate snacks that Mom had packed for us. The weather was sunny and warm, perfect for a beach day.
When we arrived, the view was amazing. The blue ocean stretched far and wide, and the sound of waves was so relaxing. We played in the sand, built sandcastles, and took lots of pictures.
My favorite part was when Dad and I went swimming together. The water was cool and refreshing. Before heading home, we had seafood lunch at a local restaurant. It was delicious!
That day was so fun. I wish we could go again next holiday.
2. Menginap di Villa Puncak Bersama Teman-Teman
Last holiday, I stayed at a villa in Puncak with five of my school friends. We planned this trip a month before and finally made it happen during the school break.
We traveled by bus and arrived in the afternoon. The villa was cozy and surrounded by trees. The air was cool and fresh, totally different from the city. That night, we had a barbecue party and roasted marshmallows under the stars.
The next day, we went hiking to a nearby hill. It was tiring, but the view from the top was worth it. We took selfies, laughed a lot, and shared snacks. After hiking, we returned to the villa and played board games until late at night.
That short trip brought us closer. We made unforgettable memories and promised to plan another one soon.
3. Berkunjung ke Museum Nasional di Jakarta
Two weeks ago, my class visited the National Museum in Jakarta for a school field trip. We gathered at school early and went there by bus.
At the museum, our guide explained the history of Indonesia through ancient artifacts, statues, and paintings. I was amazed by the huge bronze statues and traditional weapons from different regions.
We also joined a workshop about traditional batik. I even tried making my own batik pattern. It wasn’t easy, but it was fun and interesting. After the museum tour, we had lunch in a nearby park and shared stories with friends.
It was an educational and enjoyable experience. I learned a lot and felt proud of Indonesia's rich culture.
4. Petualangan di Hutan Mangrove Surabaya
Last Sunday, my cousin and I went to Mangrove Forest in Surabaya. We had never been there before, so we were very curious.
We arrived around 9 a.m. and rented a boat to explore the mangrove area. The guide told us about the importance of mangroves for protecting the environment. We even saw some birds and small crabs living between the roots!
After the boat tour, we walked along the wooden bridge and took photos. The forest was quiet and peaceful. We sat under a tree and had our lunch while enjoying the breeze.
That visit taught me a lot about nature. I realized how important it is to protect our environment.
5. Menikmati Kesejukan Alam di Danau Toba
During last school break, I visited Lake Toba with my family. It was my dream to see the biggest lake in Indonesia, and it finally came true!
We stayed in a hotel near the lake and spent three days exploring the area. On the first day, we took a ferry to Samosir Island. The scenery was breathtaking! The water was so clear and calm.
We visited a traditional Batak house and watched a cultural dance performance. I learned how rich and unique Batak culture is. We also tried local food like naniura and saksang. It was spicy but delicious!
On the last day, we just relaxed by the lake, breathing the fresh air and enjoying the peaceful view. It was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had.
